Cleric Stresses Int’l Work to Promote Quran

IQNA – The director of Iran’s Islamic Seminaries underscored the significance of Quranic activities at the international level.

Speaking to IQNA, Ayatollah Ali Reza Aarafi said the more the international aspect of Quranic activities develops, the more youths and others will be attracted to it.

He referred to the activities of the International Quran News Agency as an example of such efforts.

He also highlighted the role that the use of arts can play in promoting the Holy Book.

The Quran is a work of art and if the Quranic art is properly introduced and fostered, it can attract hearts, the senior cleric said.

Ayatollah Aarafi added that he once enumerated 20 Quranic arts that one could link to Quranic teachings.
